Primet Completes First United Way Campaign

December 31, 2009 | Ithaca, NY | Primet recently wrapped up its first-ever workplace campaign in support of United Way of Tompkins County. Accounting Manager Phil Owens, who served as the company’s campaign manager, expressed satisfaction with the results, “We had a very good participation rate, and the amount donated exceeded my goal by over 100%. All of us know that 2009 has been a really tough year for many people in our community, and Primet is very pleased to be joining with other companies and individual donors to help people in need throughout our area.”
 
United Way has been serving Tompkins County since 1921. It is a major source of support for 43 community organizations that provide an array of services to the elderly, the disabled, the unemployed and others in need.
